Shona Art at the Burgergalerie Brienz, April 2026
From April 1 to 27, 2026, the Jean Theiler Gallery at the Burgergalerie Brienz will open its doors for an extraordinary art experience: Shona stone sculptures and paintings from Zimbabwe, created by exceptional artists who blend traditional techniques with contemporary expression.
Each sculpture tells a story—inspired by nature, guided by emotion, and shaped by craftsmanship and passion. The exhibition invites visitors to experience the fascinating interplay of form, color, and culture and to immerse themselves in the world of Shona art.
